The Low Down!

I’ve recently been looking to to stream all my favorite shows on my Android device and thought this would be a good chance to help others in the same process. So here they are!

CBS Interactive, INC

I can watch several of my all time favorite shows like How I met your Mother, NCIS, CSI, Big Bang Theory, Under the Dome, The Good Wife, and even an old Favorite the Original Series Star Trek! Everything you Might need to watch and more from one of the Biggest I’ve seen yet. The Streaming part of this can be questionable, but I am hoping this is a WORK IN Progress, since they released this recently for the Android, IOS, and Window 8. I can only hope!

Crackle — Movies and TV

Crackle, is constantly changing and adding some new and old series to their lineup. I can’t give tell you who is going to be on their but they have some great Anime Series and Science Fiction Series that you might like to check out!

The Discovery Channel

The Discovery Channel has several that you might want to add to your favorites. The Ones that I am quite happy with are Mythbusters. There are a ton of other series you should check out but I just love the Mythbusters episodes and they are my main pick right now!

The History Channel

This has some great Shows and topics that you will want to check out including The Bible, Only in America With Larry the Cable Guy, and The Universe! Although I don’t watch all these, it has some great shows and specials and stuff that is constantly being added. I am constantly checking to see what else is being added on each month.

Hulu Plus (Download the App)

You will need a Subscription to Hulu Plus for $7.99 a month to use this on you tablet or even your phone but The main reason I am considering this is because of Doctor Who and Maybe a few others but that is the main reason. Hopefully Hulu will be getting new episodes in fall but only time will tell! oh And on a side note, you should also install Netflix if you decide to go that route also. They have some great streaming episodes and movies that you might want to watch on your android device also!

These are USA Streaming only but you can obviously get around that by using a VPN service like VPN4ALL. You can stream these and other sites or Apps with the free VPN4ALL app that you can get from the Google Play Store!

[ad#ad2-left]The price of the unit at Memorex is 269.99$. I think this is a great buy if all you need is a blue ray player. Cheaper than buying a PS3. Although if you want to buy a PlayStation 3 to play games and also watch movies on it that is still a good deal. So why buy this player, this will not play games and keep your happy.

Is Vista just Windows 7?

[ad#ad2-left]According to Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols from Computer World, He talks about how Microsoft is scared on Linux and that people are flocking to remove Vista off there Machines. I say otherwise, you see according to some experts like Mark Hall from Computer World, he states Vista is better than Mac OS X. So why do people say one thing and do another?

Now I know Vista isn’t what people expected and that it had high expectations when they first released it. I think that is due to the fact Microsoft tried so hard to make Vista seem more than it actually was. Now According to Ina Fried from CNET her post was about Windows 7: A better Vista?. In her post she talked about the features of Windows 7, and how Windows 7 is almost like Vista. I tend to agree because of the look from screenshots I’ve seen to make me think it will be Version 2 of Vista. I don’t think it is anything that will change from Vista to Windows 7. It will however be more ready to boot up and shutdown that is according to what Microsoft said to Ina.

What is Windows 7 going to have? Some reports are saying:

Windows will have only one “Ready Sticker”!

Better Battery Life and Boot Faster

Lean, Faster, and even Embedded

Dialed Down on the UAC

Will be released in Mid to late 2009

[ad#ad2-right]I did some research and everything so far is either confirmed to be in this next release of Window 7 or is speculation. I don’t know if these are true. I do know however everything they talked about is looking to me to be like Vista Version 2. Nothing they’ve said so far couldn’t of been an update like a service to pack to fix all these things people are wanting right now. Vista to be faster, have better battery life, be lean, be embedded, better Uac, and boot faster.

Now I could be wrong but that is everything Vista could of done and still is possible to do!! If only Microsoft would do what is needed people wouldn’t be wanting Windows 7. Although I suspect people will have there hopes broken, or complain about it when it comes out. I suspect the ones who want Windows 7 will be saying Vista is great!! I will just have to watch what happens in the future!!

Left 4 Dead Sneak Peak!

Newell said: “We will be releasing demos for both the Xbox and for the PC. I don’t know what the date is for release on that, though. I think it’s going to contain the first part of one of the campaigns. I think it’ll probably be Hospital but I’m not sure. That’s a decision that Doug Lombardi is making.”

Watch the Video from Steam for Left 4 Dead Intro In English. According to Steam, you will haveto pre-purchase Left 4 Dead and then the Demo will be available for you a week before hand!! so that is one good thing!! So go buy it and enjoy!!! So I did some research and found some sites that you should not go to, or download from. These sites have been know to spread the fake anti-virus malware software. So I wanted to warn people of some common websites that have been known to have viruses on them:

hxxp://porntubedot.com/xxxxxxxx/WatchFreeMovie.php –This site usually tries to send you the “Trojan.Dropper.SMN” Virus.

hxxp://handballfondi.it/xxxxxx1.php — This site is one of the new Malware sites that looks like Youtube, When you go to this site they say you need a special to play a video clip. Most of the time when you get something like this, it is going to try to install Malware. A good broad set of Codecs that you may want to download is called Klite Mega Codec, which if you us that you should never need to download any other codec to play a movie clip from any site online.
