Now Those are the clues and I did my research for each.   So Lets see where we go with this:

As you can see, I said who have the rights to the movie or shows.  I also linked that to Hulu’s Company page.  If you can come up with other ideas let me know!!

So these are my guesses.  I could be wrong but I suspect these are the ones.  If you feel you have a better idea of what will come out by all means leave a comment or go to the Disqus community page and leave a comment there!! You can also email me and tell me your thoughts, just go to the About Me page and let me know!!

I will update this as needed!!  Just for those people who want to keep checking!!

Update:

For Monday : Like I said I could be woefully wrong on this, I Sure Was.  It’s not Dogma.  I thought they were trying to be indirect.  The Hulu TV show is Wierd Science 1985 Seasons 1 thru 2 is the connection.  I never like the show that much!! 😉

For Tuesday: They must have problems with the system because on the main page it says Pitch black and Summer page it says the Office.  Are they changing it for a reason?  I am guessing they had a system error or something like that and it is the wrong one!!

For Wensday: Yes I know, I am going to be wrong on the flintstones so after due consideration I changed it to to what it might be thanks to the help of a commenter on Disqus.  You should all join and talk about this if you want to help others figure out what it is!!  The more that talk about these clues the more chance on getting them right!!

For Friday: Yes they took that hint off for Friday.  They probably had a problem with it and had it fall through!  It’s an imaginary location in Texas where the dog lives!!  Oakdale, Texas, I’m certain it was that!!  So we will see!!!

*UPDATE* Friday: It seems they might keep the idea of a PBS release.  I am guessing it is going to be a documentary a National Geographic Release!

*Update* Friday: They finally released the awaited clue and it was something I didn’t know they had any affiliation with.  I’m bound to be wrong half the time!! These clues are not the best sometimes!!

*UPDATE #2 For Thursday* They seemed to have published the program details a little to soon.  If you go to the recently added page you will see ReGensis is already on it.  So I was right!!  I already updated the link for it, have fun!!  They Seemed to of hidden that I should of got a screen cap of that!! Oh well, maybe next time!!  The Link won’t work until after 12am PST/3amEST!!

How to get Hulu to add content!

Why do we want to have campaigns?  Easy in order for us to have what we want from hulu we have to get there attention.   It might work and it might not but getting the attention of certain companies is the hardest part of all.  Most of the time the higher rated television companies don’t want to have anything to do with streaming.  They feel it is taking away there core audience.

Is Hulu making it easier for us to watch what we want?

That would be a definite “Yes”  So what do we want Hulu to do?  Easy to put more television shows that we want to watch.  For example here are a few shows and movies that I would like to see come to HULU:

  1. Stargate Atlantis (Sci-fi Channel)
  2. Mythbusters (Discovery Channel)
  3. This Old House (PBS)
  4. Star Trek : TOS to Voyager
  5. The Matrix (all three movies)
  6. Touched by An Angel
  7. KyleXY (You can view it on AbcFamily.com)
  8. 7th Heaven

You’re probably asking how one person can get any of the shows or movies on Hulu?  One person probably couldn’t, but quite a few could.    How You might ask?

Here are Five steps to make it more possible to get what you want on HULU:

Step One . . . . Find people who are also looking to get the shows you want Hulu by blogging. Also by making a comment on the Hulu Blog.  The more people who talk about it and ask for it. The more chance the people who have the ability to do something about it will do something about it.

(*)Step Two . . . . Find an editor that you like on the Hulu Blog that has the same interests that you do and email them asking for information about that show.  You tell them you would like a tv program on HULU.

(*)Step Three . . . Do an Internet Movie Database search and find out who owns the rights for this.  Try to find someway to contact them and tell them you would like that show on HULU, explain why and how it could help them!!

(*)Step Four. . . . Blog about it or email your friends telling them how to contact that same company to be able to view that TV show on HULU for free.  Let them know the more who call the better chance it will eventually get on HULU!

(*)Step Five . . . . Do a Google search with the words “Hulu [Television show or move]”.  See if you can find other blogs that feel this way and make a comment to them about your blog.  The more that know about your blog and what you want on Hulu the better chance the right people will find out!

(*)Remember, Don’t Spam!

Although some of this is common sense, it takes more than one person to get your favorite shows onto Hulu.  I wanted to throw out these suggestions.  Most of the cable companies and movie companies don’t want you to stream the videos because they feel they are lossing money but we are the consumer know that’s not true.

This is why I made a blog post about this to better help people get power over these companies.  I feel streaming is going to live past the television age and they need to adjust to what people want.  If you feel like I do, tell people about this blog post or you can also go to my HULU DISCUSSION community area and post you comments there.

Remember We’ve got the power to change the world, one person at a time!!

Hulu is going to be big some day and I’ll be able to tell my grandchildren I helped make Hulu what it is today!! 😉

Hulu Summer Clues for July 14-18 for 2008! REVEALED

Well I’ve checked what they are doing and I’ve got to say, it’s kinda funny!!!  So what are the clues.  I’ll break it down for you here’s the 5 clues that you can understand much easier!!

  1. Monday:       Casino Royale (1976) [Tiny URL]
  2. Tuesday:      The Fall Guy Season 1 [Tiny URL]
  3. WednesdayFiddler On the Roof [Tiny URL]
  4. Thursday:    The Dick van Dyke Show Seasons 1-3 [Tiny URL]
  5. Friday:        The Rundown (2003) [Tiny URL]

These are just guesses but I am almost certain that this “tiny clue” comment refers to the tiny URL webpage.  I am quite sure this is the linup for next weeks.   Tiny URL’s are used to make easy ways to tell people how to get to a post!!  I thought it was really easy but I wanted to let people know what I thought.  If you like this post, I’ll be trying to figure out next weeks clues, so keep watching!!

Hulu throws out family values!!

So here is why I say they have thrown family values out of the window. They seem to want to show clips and movies about Sex. Some talking about pregnancy and other just about how they do it. They also seem to have full movies about drugs and sex!!

National Lampoon’s

Spring Break

One of the ones I am talking about is National Lampoons which talks about the usual spring break and 18 year olds. I am guessing they are trying to get people to google the word sex and movies to get people to come to Hulu.

Totally Baked

Now about this little movie, this one is so stupid, I wouldn’t even rent it. It however has been rated “R” and talks about drugs and some sexual scenes. I also think they are doing this to get people to come to there sites. I however don’t think this is totally acceptable, they shouldn’t have to do this.

So what does that do for the reputation of Hulu? Are you comfortable with how this IPTV is showing these types of content on the internet. although you have to be REGISTERED to see these that doesn’t mean they actually prove that your 18 or older to see these movies or clips. What do you think they should do about this? Are you concerned about your children seeing this?

Hulu Discusses Private Beta, Suggests Public Launch Time Frame

I had the chance yesterday to sit down with Eric Feng, the CTO of Hulu, to discuss how things have gone during its private beta and where the service is heading in 2008. Here are some of the things I learned:

  • Hulu currently has “several hundred thousand users” who have submitted “tens of thousands” of feedback messages.
  • The public launch should come in the next couple of months, probably around the end of March.
  • High definition video will be rolled out gradually over the coming year with more and more content; the company believes that 2008 will be a year when online video companies start focusing less on convenience and more on quality.
  • Hulu has tripled its amount of content since private beta launch, with many episodes of shows going back to the first seasons, not just the last five that have aired on TV.
  • Downloads might come in the long term, but they are not something that Hulu is focusing on currently.
  • RSS feeds have been added so users can keep track of new content added to the site.

I didn’t copy everything just the points that I thought were most important for people to to find out about what Hulu is going to do in the coming months.
