As small as a fingernail: close-up of Micro SD card SanDisk Ultra 64 GB on white background

So you want a Good Gaming Experience

If you are like me, you only bought a small 64gb version of the Steam Deck. After all You can upgrade the internal storage up to 2tb if you really had the money for the hardware. I know I will be doing this in the future myself but until then. I still have a lot of steam games and other games I want to play on the Steam deck. This is another way to increase your storage and you can save a lot of money this way also, if you aren’t confortable about opening up your Steam Deck. No screws required to do this way also.  This is the easiest way to increase your storage space but you have to have the right cards to have the best gaming experience.   I’m going to talk about some of the things you will want to look for and also give you some examples of the cards you should buy.

Read and Write Speeds

This is the first place you should be looking for.  The SDXC (MicroSD card) has to be able to write  and read up to 100 mb/s.  The faster you get the better experience you will be.  You should look for cards that says V30 and has the U3 Symbol.   These will tell you that they are designed for up to that amount but I find that you will want to get something that is as fast as possible but also really cheap.  You can buy several of these and switch them out with the games you are wanting to play at the time.  You can buy several small 256gb MicroSD cards and switch them off when you need because of games being on them that you want to play.   Here’s a Few of my Amazon recommendations on which ones to buy that will get you the most out of gaming experience.

Final Thoughts

My final thoughts on this is that you can have anywhere from 64gb up to 1 tb of extra space and if you have a 1tb internal space.  I can’t see you needing more that a 2 tb amount either way.  This would probably the most you probably, unless you add in the Epic Games and other ways to mod your Steam Deck.  I’ll be talking about that in an upcoming post about how you can do that for almost any gaming network but maybe not Nintendo.   The Steam Deck is more powerful than the Switch right now.  You can play games from other providers and enjoy playing mobile.   This is something that has been a long time coming to allow gamers to take their games anywhere they want to and play them on any display they want to.   I don’t know how the Logitech G Gaming handset will be but at least the Steam Deck is far better than what people have thought it would be.  I can’t wait to see the Version 2 of the Steam Deck and see what they do in the future.

Quite Impressive!

I bought this phone a few days ago due to my other phone breaking the Motorola G7. I proceeded to order it and it came a few days. I also decided to order a belt holster

to try to keep my phone from breaking again. I must say after opening it up, it feels quite sturdy and I like the holographic backing on the phone. The plastic on the back feels durable and not going to break anytime soon. I am sure it is designed for scratches and being dropped but I would love to keep my phone from getting scratched or broken.

My thoughts!

It has some great potential for being a Samsung phone. This was a great buy from Amazon because you could pay a monthly for 60$. I am sure it will become cheaper as it gets older but the phone itself is sweet and is really responsive. I’ve had problems with the embedded finger printer reader. There’s a problem with it reading my finger print for me to use it, so I couldn’t use it. I absolutely like how this phone works with applications. It’s a good medium range phone for those who are looking for a durable phone. When you try this phone, and you will see just how sturdy it feels. This is a US version but if you intend to use it internationally, you should be able to use the 3g or 4g. I can’t be sure if it will work but I can’t see that it won’t work. I’m thoroughly impressed with phone and how well it feels and looks in my hand.

Nexus not as hot as you think, Chitika

Google’s tablets really made the news after the release of Nexus 7 [Affiliate Link] and one might consider Nexus 7 to be bought by almost everyone but when it comes to the web traffic the results are not that much convincing. According to the Chitika’s current web traffic report Google’s Nexus tablets hardly make a difference. Chitika compared Nexus tablets with Microsoft surface and examined the web traffic for a week in November and surprisingly Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 [Affiliate Link] together accounted for almost 1% of the web traffic.

Well, part of the reason Nexus tablets have accounted so less of web traffic is because Google has not been able to cope up with demand of their devices. No doubt the demand for Nexus tablets is skyrocketing but Google has not been able supply with enough units or perhaps the supply was not enough from the get go. And to aggravate the situation, there is no official figure regarding the sale of Google Nexus devices.

As for Nexus 7 things have settled down in terms of demand and supply and Google is trying to take care of Nexus 10’s supply as well. But if supply has leveled out for both devices and still they lack behind in web traffic then it means that Nexus tablets are not that much of hit of hit among masses as we thought. There are other factors to be taken under consideration.

For those who do not know Chitika is one of the research firms that play a significant role in mobile advertising space. Also we are not aware of any official report manifesting the exact number of units of Nexus Google has sold. Nexus tablets may be hot among the techno geeks but when it comes to average masses it might not be as much demanding as the Apple’s iPad.

As for Microsoft Surface the results were even worst. It only accounted for .13 percent of the web traffic even lower than Nexus’s .91 percent. Again, there is no official figure regarding the sale of Microsoft’s Surface so in situation like this third party analytics for instance Chitika provides a much vivid story. The people at Microsoft might be happy with the figure Chitika has presented since Surface is first of its kind from Microsoft.

In a nutshell, if it isn’t Apple it is not on the top of food chain. iPad is the only tablet which in enjoying the healthiest share in the tablet market and even the iPad mini was able to make its mark the despite the tough competition it faced because of the reasoned price it offered.

Other tablets such as Amazon Kindle fire and Samsung’s Android based tablets may also be enjoying a healthy share because of their strong marketing campaigns. For now we cannot say anything and it would be better to wait until the early 2013 when 2012’s Q4 reports will be out. But according to the numbers now, we anticipate not more than 10 percent of the market share of both Microsoft’s Windows and Google’s Android together.
