The Daily Wireless also has a review on it on there site. I also found The Boy Genius talks about there review also. They all seem to look favorable to the G1. Engadget also talk about it looking at the expectations of the G1. So far everyone seems to love the G1. All in All, I think the Iphone is in for a rude awakening. There Seems to be a Good Video on what the G1 Can do so I wanted to also add this to my list of Information.  This is Coming from Wall Street Journal:

Google introduces the Androids G1 today!

[ad]

With the recent announcement of Apples earnings. So now that Google released this, is Apple going to be able to keep up the steam with the Iphone? Which phone are you going to buy the Iphone or the Android G1? So far T-mobile has did pre-orders on the phone now to see what the earnings are for this little adventure? Is it enough?

Go check it out and let me know what you think.

Apple reports there earnings for the quarter!

After all that happened today, Apple decides to talk about there earnings for today.  Some things to consider are:

Apple ships more than 2.6 million Macs and 6.9 Billion Iphones.   Now let’s do the numbers on this 6.9 billion Iphones at an average over 500$ a piece would mean quite a earnings for Apple.  This according to Applewatch and I’ve got to think is this showing the real economy or is this all hype from Steve Jobs?

According to M&G Business they are up 24 per cent this fiscal year.  Which means that they have gain ahead from the recent problems in the stock market.  Are they going to be able keep that going?

Last but final least saying of the day Gizmodo is stating : Steve is on the call, says that iPhone is now 39 percent of their business, Apple is now world’s “third largest mobile phone supplier.”

Now what about the Google Phone is that going to out sale the Iphone?  I would like to know the current status of how man Google phones they have estimation sold on pre-orders?  Are they going to be able to out do the Iphone or is it going to be even more of a problem when they release the final numbers on the G-phone!!

Has the Mac ads been helping fueling the Iphone sales or have they been Hindering?  People are assuming they are helping the notebook sales and possibly helping the iphone sales?  What do you think?

One-Click Jailbreak for iPhone 1.1.3 Firmware

1.1.3jailbreak.png

Last week I detailed how to jailbreak your iPhone to the 1.1.3 firmware using Windows- or Mac-based applications and walking through a fairly long process. If that process was a bit too daunting for you, the Jailbreak Dev Team has released a one-click solution that you simply install through Installer.app. To use it, you need to have a jailbroken 1.1.2 iPhone (here’s how to do that), then it’s simply a matter of tapping the install package and waiting about 20 minutes for the entire process to complete. Before installing, make sure you’ve set your Auto-Lock feature to Never, are connected to a Wi-Fi network (it downloads a 200MB image), and you’ve got at least 300MB of free space on your iPhone. Finally, check to make sure you’ve got the latest version of Installer.app before proceeding.

I haven’t tried this method yet, but it should be scads easier than the previously posted method. As always, remember that things can go wrong, so proceed with caution. If anything does go wrong, check the panic section of this page to restore your phone to the 1.1.1 firmware and try again. As far as I know, this method will still require you to manually enable the Faux-GPS feature. Also, rumor has it that the current jailbreak method may mess with the upcoming third-party apps (though one would assume you could always downgrade and start fresh if you needed to)

This is for the IPhone people who want to jail break the newest version and use it for you own. Use at your own risk though, I will not be responsible for any damages to the Iphone. I do however want to hear if this works or not?

iPhone SDK already seeding to select devs?

It’s not anything more than a rumor right now, but reports are floating around claiming that “select developers” are already receiving prerelease versions of the upcoming iPhone SDK. The kit is said to already be producing native apps, and development is being compared to other sandboxed APIs like Google’s OpenSocial — apps have “clear limits” on what they can do, and interactions with the OS are mediated, presumably to avoid any security or performance issues. That jives with what Steve-O said about managing access, but again — this is all just a steamy cloud of vaporous nothing till that first app shows up in iTunes.

We new there SDK is coming to the IPHONE looks like Apple is trying to make it as quickly as possible!!
